- For Deferred Applicants: If your tuition was carried over from a previous admission cycle, please contact the HIGS Office to verify your balance.
- Deferral Policy: Tuition payment for the first semester cannot be deferred, postponed, or installment-paid under any circumstances.
- Conditional Admission: Your admission will be automatically revoked if you fail to complete either the tuition payment or the specific academic/documentary conditions (for Conditionally Passed applicants) by the designated deadline.
- Tuition Refund & Withdrawal: To receive a full tuition refund, a formal "Withdrawal Request" must be submitted. Please note that the refundable amount may decrease after the official start of the semester based on the academic calendar.
- Tuition refunds will be strictly denied if a student changes their visa status to a non-study visa (e.g., G-1, refugee status, or unauthorized domestic visa changes) during their first semester.

[Post-Payment Instructions & Visa Process]
1. Payment Verification: Immediately after sending the tuition, you must email a clear copy of your payment record (wire transfer slip, receipt photo, or transaction history) to higs@shyu.ac.kr.
2. Mailing Address Verification: Double-check and update your physical postal address and active contact number in the system to ensure the secure delivery of your physical Certificate of Admission (CoA).
3. Proxy In-Person Pickup Option: If you prefer an in-person pickup of your original visa documents within Korea, you must provide the HIGS Office with the full legal name and contact details of your authorized representative.
4. Document Dispatch: Original admission documents will be dispatched starting June 30, 2026. Your EMS or EMS Premium (UPS) tracking number will be sent via email upon shipment.
5. Visa Application: Please initiate your student visa (D-2) application at the Korean Embassy/Consulate immediately upon verifying your tuition receipt.
6. Visa Status Reporting Deadline: You must email a copy of your approved visa/visa grant notice to higs@shyu.ac.kr before August 15, 2026, 12:00 (GMT+9)
7.Enforcement Action (Visa Failure): Failure to submit visa approval by the deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of your Certificate of Admission (CoA).This cancellation will be officially reported to the Korean Embassy and the Korea Immigration Service on August 25, 2026, 12:00 (GMT+9)
8.Visa Failure Refund Request: Candidates who fail to secure their visa must submit a formal "Withdrawal Request" before August 23, 2026, 12:00 (GMT+9) to remain eligible for a full tuition refund.
