REGISTRATION AND DISMISSAL POLICY REMINDER
Notice of HIGS Committee Decision on June 9, 2026, regarding Tuition Non-Payment

Dear Students,

This is a formal reminder for students who have not yet paid their tuition for the Spring 2026 semester. Following the HIGS Committee decision on June 9, 2026, the University strictly enforces the Academic Regulations.

1. Academic Regulations
Article 12 (Registration): Every student must pay tuition within the designated period.

Article 16 (Dismissal): Students who fail to pay tuition within the specified period will be automatically dismissed (제적) from the university.

Note: This policy was previously communicated on March 16, 2026 (Notice No. 202) on the HIGS website.

2. Important Deadlines
Official Registration Period: February 16 - February 24, 2026 (Passed)

Semester Closing Service: June 15, 2026

[Urgent Action Required] All outstanding tuition must be cleared before June 15, 2026. If you do not pay by this date, your final grades will be blocked, and dismissal procedures will begin.

3. Remark:
Seoul Hanyoung University (SHYU) underwent an official financial audit.
the auditors raised serious questions regarding compliance violations, specifically focusing on:

Unauthorized extension of tuition payment deadlines.
Course completion and grade processing for non-paying students.

Therefore, the university can no longer delay tuition collection or grant individual extensions.
