The Spring 2026 Master's Comprehensive Examination in Counseling is scheduled as follows.
Please review the eligibility and procedures carefully to ensure a successful application.

- Eligible Applicants: Students in the Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychology who have completed at least TWO (2) semesters of coursework.
- Examination Subjects: To Be Announced on May 15(Friday)* Subjects are change based on the Faculty Council’s decision.
　1) Psychoanalysis, 13:00 - 15:00
　2) Human Growth and Development Psychology, 15:00 - 17:00

1. Dates and Schedule
- Application Period: May 8 - May 15, -> 17 , 2026
- Release of Study Guide/Example Questions: May 15 or 18, 2026
- Examination Date: June 19, 2026 (Friday), 13:00 - 15:00, 15:00 - 17:00, 2hours per subject
* Venue: Room 15, 4F, Build Y(MACP Lecture room of 2026 Spring semester)

2. Registration and Payment Details 　1) Submission Email: higs@shyu.ac.kr
　2) Required Information 　1) Fee: 10,000KRW per subject(e.g., 20,000KRW for 2 subjects)

3. Examination Format and Passing Criteria
- Format: Closed-book, handwritten (pen) paper examination.
- Prohibited Items: Use of textbooks, reference materials, or electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
- Question Bank: Final exam questions will be selected from the provided example questions to suppoet your preparation.
- Passing Score: A minimum score of 70 out of 100 per subject is required to pass.
