Notice of Doctoral Comprehensive Examination: Spring 2026

The Spring 2026 Doctoral Comprehensive Examination is scheduled as follows. Please review the eligibility and procedures carefully to ensure your successful application.

1. Eligibility and Examination Subjects

• Eligible Applicants: Ph.D. students who have completed at least four (4) semesters of coursework.

• Examination Subjects:

1. Abnormal Psychology

2. Psychoanalysis

3. Christian Marriage and Family Counseling

• Note: Subjects are subject to change based on the Faculty Council’s decision.

2. Key Dates and Schedule

• Application Period: March 23 - April 3, 2026

• Release of Study Guide/Example Questions: April 10, 2026

• Examination Period: April 27 - May 2, 2026

• Venue: To Be Announced (Specific locations will be notified individually)

3. Examination Format and Passing Criteria

• Format: Closed-book, handwritten (pen) paper examination.

• Prohibited Items: The use of textbooks, reference materials, or electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) is strictly prohibited during the exam.

• Question Bank: Actual exam questions will be selected from the set of example questions provided in advance.

• Passing Score: A minimum score of 70 out of 100 per subject is required to pass.

4. Examination Fee and Payment Details

• Examination Fee: 60,000 KRW (20,000 KRW per subject).

• Bank Account: Kookmin Bank (KB), 538801-01-377078.

• Account Holder: 서울한영대학교 (Seoul Hanyoung University).

• Submission: Please email your proof of payment (screenshot or receipt) to higs@shyu.ac.kr.
